Understand & communicate

What AI actually is, how to talk to it well, and how to pick the right tools.

About this track

The Foundation track is where AI stops being magic and starts being a tool you can reason about. You learn how large language models generate text, why they hallucinate, and what actually changes the quality of an answer - so you can debug your own results instead of blaming the model.

From there you build the two habits every other track depends on: writing prompts with structure, and giving models the right context. By the end you have a personal AI stack, a reusable prompt template, and a working sense of when to trust output and when to verify it.

What you'll be able to do
  • Explain how LLMs work - and why they fail - in plain language
  • Pick the right model and tool for a given task
  • Write structured prompts that return the same quality every time
Who it's for
  • · Anyone new to working with AI beyond casual chat use
  • · PMs, designers, marketers and analysts who want consistent output
  • · Teams standardising how they prompt and which tools they use
What a module looks like

Read, copy the prompts, apply, then prove it

Every module opens with the outcomes, walks you through the lesson and ready-to-use prompts, gives you a hands-on exercise, and ends with a short quiz you need to pass to mark it complete.
